AJ's family called us just after she came home, a bit overwhelmed by their energetic new puppy and wanting very much to do everything right.
The family presented AJ as a gift to their daughter, who wanted a dog very much and had been promised one when she completed the honor of her Bat Mitzvah. Everyone in the family was excited about AJ joining their family but despite their careful preparations for her arrival, no one was really sure of the best way to train her and take care of her.
After several sessions with Diane of The Cultured Canine, AJ's family was able to set their puppy up for success. They understood her need for socialization, learned what to do when she nipped and how to housetrain her errorlessly. AJ loved learning as much as her family loved training her. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, AJ's family was able to truly enjoy their long-awaited puppy.
At Diane's suggestion, they supplemented their private, in-home sessions with puppy nursery classes at Divine K-9. AJ did very well in group class as well as during her training sessions at home.
AJ is now taking agility classes, enjoying trips to the park and is truly a Cultured Canine!
